Biography

A native from Cannes, France, Laurent Ziliani started to play the piano at the age of 7 and started composing music at the age of 9. He studied music in Cannes and Aix-en-Provence, while pursuing a Master of Science. Following his passion for movies, he then became an assistant at various positions in the film industry, both in Paris and in Los Angeles. At that point he decided to further his musical studies at the renowned Berklee College of Music where he pursued a Film Scoring Major. Laurent now lives in Los Angeles where he composes and orchestrates in partnership with Thomas Parisch for PearUp Media. His recent scores include Doc Martin on TF1, and Capcom‘s Resident Evil 6. He is a laureate of the 2009 edition of Emergence and the 2010 edition of the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop.
